Frederick Wall confirmed that berths had been reserved for the Everton team and officials on a ship leaving Southampton on 14 May and returning from Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 25 June. First class accommodation would be provided in South America. In their 20 days away Everton would take on Spurs and play several South American teams.
