Daniel Kirkwood - The Director Years

On 22 December 1928 Kirkwood died at the age of 61. On his death certificate his profession is listed as football team manager formerly shopkeeper. On 28th December his death was reported to the board. The directors agreed to set aside £250 to be paid to Mrs Kirkwood at a rate of £2.00 a week. It was their recognition that Kirkwood had been a loyal Evertonian for almost 40 years.
