22 November 1930 - Dixie Dean scored his first hat-trick of the season with Tommy Johnson also scoring twice in the 5-0 win over Stoke. At the end of the season Dean had scored 39 goals in the League and a further 9 in the FA Cup to head Everton's goalscoring list once again. Read the Stoke programme.

24 November 1962 - Everton moved 2 points clear of Spurs at the top of the table with a 3-0 win over Sheffield United at Goodison, with Roy Vernon scoring twice and Dennis Stevens netting the other. Read the Sheffield United match programme.
25 November 1939 - Everton defeated Crewe 6-2 in the War Regional League. The wartime programme states:
"During this National need, our usual facilities are very much cramped owing to the demands made on our organisation by the authorities - demands which we cannot detail". Read the full wartime programme.
26 November 1919 - Wally Fielding was born in London. Despite signing amateur forms for Charlton during the Second World War, he joined Everton as a professional at the end of the war, a decision that caused a furious row with Charlton. He broke into the Everton first team in 1945-46 and went on to make over 400 appearances for the first team, later spending a season with Southport before retiring. 27 November 1963 - League champions Everton travelled to Glasgow to take on Rangers in the first leg of what was to be billed 'The British Championship'. Goals from Alex Scott, Derek Temple and Sandy Young gave them a 3-1 win in front of a crowd of 64,006. See all Glasgow Rangers memorabilia.
